O Damn was a game exploration I did with a small team looking to try and make a multiplayer casual game.  As shown above both players are prospectors looking for gold flowing in a river, to get the gold they need to dam the river in the correct direction. I served as lead designer for the team and kept the vision in order as well as headed much of the testing that got us to our conceptual stage as shown above.  I was aided by another designer on the team, but conceptually the game was my idea.

God Does Not Play Dice was a small game test made by me and a few others in an attempt to make a horror, turn based strategy game. In it the player is a being searching the depths of the ocean to find and destroy horrific leviathans. Much of the mechanics of the game revolve around the shining of the light on the monsters which both reveals their position but also makes them actively hostile to the player. I was mostly in charge of some documentation and further expanding the possible future enemies and also helping refine the combat. As this was right at the start of the Pandemic we did not have the ability to testing like we usually would have.

B.R.U.C.E. was an experiment with a small team to try and make a game about managing anxiety, specifically for children and teaching them methods outside of the game. Preliminarily we did a good deal of research into good exercises to manage anxiety attacks. We decided to land on grounding for the game itself. Essentially either slowly count to ten while breathing

in-between each number count. Or find things in your present environment and make note of them. Both essentially force the mind to be present rather then spiraling into an attack.  Either way on the team itself I was the lead designer and managed the vison and documentation of the game.
